Pondering Packing

I’m still trying to figure out my whole blog/website/portfolio situation, and I’ve been flip flopping between my Squarespace and WordPress sites, but here we are! In 16 days, i’m heading down to Florida for an early “spring break” to see my family and one of my best friends from college. And to get beach time, of course.

Seriously, I didn’t think I’d ever be this excited to go back to Florida, but I honestly am. I haven’t seen this friend in a long time, and I’m fairly overdue for some rest and relaxation. We’ve got some pretty epic plans, that include but are not limited to: beaches, theme parks, family dinners, manicures, spa days, and at least one trip to IHOP. Because pancakes make it a vacation, okay?

I’m starting to think about what to bring, and honestly, I’m really tempted to bring the absolute bare minimum and be a bum the whole trip. However, I know that’s not going to happen, I’d end up buying things I didn’t think I’d need to bring, and I’m trying to save money… attempting to, at least.

In the interest of saving money and packing efficiently and intelligently, I’ll make a write-up of what I end up putting in my suitcase, hopefully it’ll help someone else too. Some of my favorite packing resources are websites like Pinterest, HPL (Her Packing List), and Travel Fashion Girl – not because I’m fashionable, but because I never know what clothes to bring for different activities and don’t like packing my whole closet.
